An All-in One Price

Our price includes all your food, accommodation, insurance and back up benefits. We have projects and programme fees for the various durations you may choose to partake in. If you want to go for more than your intended stay of the project or programme, you can add as many extra weeks or months you like.


What do we provide?

Project / Programme
A fully organized project/programme including a centre supervisor at your Programme Centre is available for your needs, and worthwhile work right through your volunteering.

Accommodation
Programme Centres provide accommodations which have all the required modes of communication like the internet, local and long distance telephone facility and cable television so that you do not miss out any of the news/events that you might want to keep abreast of back home.

Cultural Education
The Programme Centres have their own calendared activities for volunteers so that they take back with them a piece of their host country:

• Language Courses (Hindi / Sanskrit) - 6 hours a week
• Folk Music (Vocals / Instrument) - 4 hours a week
• Folk Dance and Art - 4 hours a week
• Cultural Immersion Programmes - 3 hours a week

Food
The Programme Centres provide clean and hygienic meals 3 times a day, tea and snacks in the afternoons. Food is a mix of regional flavors and continental cuisines to suit your palette and stomach. We thoroughly insure the sanitation and cleanliness of this department so that you have a pleasant culinary experience during volunteering.

Back-up
Each Programme Centre houses between 20 and 25 volunteers with 7 and 10 fully trained local staff including a Programme Centre head to ensure all forms of logistics are met for a pleasant experience. Our staff can be contacted 24 hours a day and are available and connected to essential and emergency services round the clock.

Insurance
Comprehensive travel and medical insurance is included automatically; you are covered no matter where you are from or where you are going. This can be extended on request to cover other travel you may be doing.

Security
We keep in close touch with the Foreign & Commonwealth Offices and with Embassies, Consulates and High commissions in the country. One among the local staff at each Programme Centre is a trained security personnel who assists in the event of any breach of security to ensure the safety of all programme centre volunteers and staff. He ensures all logistics around an effective security perimeter for all volunteers and staff.

A job that needs doing
Whether you're teaching in a school for the poor or helping in at community centres, your talents will be used to their greatest ability, working on projects where you are really needed. And you don't need an armful of qualifications. Just have the spirit to say, "I contributed to make the change I wanted to see and I can make others come out and contribute towards the cause".

Community
By going on a volunteering placement, you are joining a community of fellow volunteers and local people in developing countries - working hard, travelling and having a good time while achieving meaningful goals.

Travel
Out of every 8 weeks that you work with us, you can have 2 weeks off. Volunteers often take this opportunity to travel together and see more of the country they are working in or voyage farther out. There is also the chance for independent travel before or after your placement. The programme centres are well informed of the best deals and packages available at any time of the year and they assist you at every stage of the way. In addition to the above, the Programme Centres conduct regular weekend and extended weekend excursions to places of interest in and around the district of your placement.

Flights
We help in arranging flights for volunteers into the country and to the programme centres. If you prefer to do this yourself, we can meet you at the airport. We provide free transfers from our local office to our Programme Centres for all volunteers.

Self-development
Volunteering is excellent for your CV. It gives you a greater life experience and develops personal skills, especially using initiative, which appeal to employers and university faculties. Many students/volunteers also find that working with the Volunteering In India programme provides a useful basis for writing university projects and dissertations.
